Introducing... Goddess Thelia

Thelia was born in Montreal, Quebec. For as long as she can remember, Thelia has loved art and creating. She has worked with fibre and textiles and explored various art mediums, finally focusing on clay sculpture. Upon moving to Calgary she simply couldn't resist taking classes in the Metals Program at Alberta College of Art and Design. She has participated in Body Ornament West, the Opera Coat Project and was named the solo artist for the Afrikadey 2005 Festival in Calgary. Thelia has also appeared in several magazines including Coastal Living, "Where in Calgary", and Style Canada, and the Calgary Herald Alberta Artist Series. Her work can be found in some Museum shops as well as galleries and stores in Western Canada. Ti creates what she terms "Jewellery for the Soul". All of her creations have foundation in positive messages & symbols, her one of a kind stonework pieces incorporate gems that are not only beautiful, but complement each other in color, style, and metaphysical healing properties. Currently Thelia is pursuing an Advanced Certification in Color and Crystal Therapy. She feels that not only are ancient healing modalities effective but that the combination of her jewellery and healing certification will facilitate aiding all her clients more comprehensively. Thelia wants all the wearers of her jewellery creations to feel total wellness; healthier in Mind, Body and Spirit. My name is Charmaine Marsh. I am a Feng Shui consultant,
a certified Reiki Master and an Epicure Selections consultant. Over the past 2
decades, I have spent the majority of my work experience within the
Customer Service industry, namely as a Cashier, Hair Stylist and most
recently as a Customer Service Supervisor for a very busy car
dealership. Pursuing a path of self discovery over the last eight
years, I have been taken up the practices of both Reiki and Feng Shui.
I find that these mediums have been and are currently beneficial to
my personal mental, physical and spiritual development and I am

Hello, and welcome! I am so grateful to share my information with you!

After 7 years of working on farms mostly dairy and swine, I thankfully found my passion in natural health industry at the young age of 20! I have been a part of this for 5 years now and am excited about all the new opportunites that await. I started my venture working at the Nutrition House in Stratford, ON with some lovely ladies who taught me so much about nutrition, healing and a special focus on digestion and cleansing. From there I took and Intro to Complimentary care at Conestoga College which led to my certification in Foot Reflexology.

In September 2006 I decided to part with the small town in which I grew up and travel to the west coast. Here I attended The Windsong School of Healing on Vancouver Island, BC(www.windsonghealing.com). Here I studied Oriental Bodywork - Shiatsu and Jin Shin Do, Five Element Iridology and Energy Medicine.

After spending time on Vancouver Island I decided to stay near the west coast and relocated to Calgary, AB I spent some time working in a health food store before I found my family at Prema Sai Wholistic Living. It has been amazing being in a city where access to information is right at your finger tips! I have been sponge like soaking up knowledge everywhere, some of the courses I have taken here in the city are: Ear Candling, Reiki, Hot Stone Massage, BodyTalk, Mindscape, Thai Massage, Natural Health Fundamentals and Anusara Yoga Anatomy Therapy.

I have always had a special interest in cleansing so I knew that I was bound to study Colon Hydrotherapy and in March 2008 that is what I did! I travelled to Penticton, BC to study with Hank Pelser, a man of many talents and has been in the Natural Health Industry for decades. He has also studied with the famous Bernard Jensen who has been an inspiration to many including myself.

I am grateful to have found my passion and it is health and finding that spark within people, assisting them in their journey and improving quality of life!

I am a Reiki Master and Reflexologist. I have spent many years on my healing journey doing everything from meditation to a gluten free diet. I have been practicing Reiki since 2001 and I received my mastery in 2002 and have been teaching since. I also practice other holistic modalities such as, Iridology, zone therapy, muscle testing, raindrop therapy, ear candling and energy balancing. I treat on the causal level of dis-ease, allowing what first manifested the imbalance, or dis-ease to be lifted and healed on cellular and etheric levels. After regular therapy the cellular memory is recreated causing a new pattern within the persons body and mind. These therapies are very gentle and relaxing. Each session always incorporates and or finishes with Reiki, providing deep relaxation, cleansing and grounding, also sealing in the healing providing longer term affects. I am dedicated to help assist those on their path of healing and enlightenment.

Throughout my career as a therapist and through my own life experiences I have been amazed at our innate ability to survive life's challenges and to grow from them. It is this observation that inspires me as a therapist.

My approach to therapy is highly collaborative. I believe strongly in the benefits of collaborating both eastern and western healing philosophies into therapy. In addition, I believe that the most direct path to success is found in collaborating with you, the client. I find this collaborative approach to therapy immensely rewarding.

My training in psychology, hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming, and non-traditional psychotherapeutic techniques provides my clients with a variety of paths to health and wellness. I believe that each client has their own truth that will guide them towards physical and mental health.

Gemma primarily works with children, adolescents, and adults in the areas of physical health, mental health, and personal development.

The Calgary Goddess Collective is born

The Goddesses of Calgary group was established in early 2006 as a coming together of incredibly wonderful women to network, support one another and let their inner lights shine.

Here, an excerpt from my blog after the very first gathering:

“when I came across Lulu {in the blogosphere} I was incredibly inspired by her and the women from a town called Laurence, Kansas, which may as well be like a fairy town to me. Goddess town, more precisely.

These women formed a Goddess Collective, a group that meets regularly to love, support and just joyfully BE. So I decided to start my own 'GC'. Brought together some of the most incredibly inspiring women (who were mostly entrepreneurial, as it turned out), to connect, drink wine, get henna'd and generally enjoy each other's company & energy. And what a beautiful energy was created! Looking forward to our next gathering”

All amazing, talented, individuals with generous kind giving natures and perpetual peaceful optimistic states, this Sisterhood's sole destiny is to grow and develop into a tightly knit community of love and support.

This summer, this group formed a unique business and trading network.

Most members are practicing Holistic Therapists (Massage, Reflexology, Reiki, Acupuncturists, etc.) but all women who bring a positive spiritual energy to their craft and/or business are welcome to join.

A yearly membership includes the opportunity to exchange trades with other members, take part in monthly spa nights (to grow and nurture your practices and yourselves) and the chance to design your very own page in the year-end directory.
